The 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme - RDP is the key tool for the development of agriculture, forestry, the natural environment and the economy of rural areas in Liguria.

The Rural Development Programme of the Liguria Region aims to promote the development of agriculture, forestry and rural areas in Liguria through a focus on smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

The 2014-2020 programming focuses on major themes related to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Its general regulations define 6 priorities:

·        Priority 1 - Transfer of knowledge and innovation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas;

·        Priority 2 - Farm competitiveness and profitability, sustainable forest management;

·        Priority 3 - Organisation of the food supply chain, including processing and marketing of agricultural products, animal welfare and risk management;

·        Priority 4 - Preserving, restoring and enhancing ecosystems in agriculture and forestry;

·        Priority 5 - Resource efficiency and shift to a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy in the agri-food and forestry industry;

·        Priority 6 - Social inclusion, poverty reduction and economic development in rural areas.

The RDP is organized into operational measures, each of which has specific objectives and addresses relevant needs.

 

Filiera 4.0 is financed under Measure 16.02 "Support for pilot projects and the development of new products, practices, processes and technologies".

The Project started on 1 July 2020 and will end in 2022, after two years.
